HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Starting Monday, November 4th, two Hillsborough County Community Collection Centers will return to their regular operating hours.

The Alderman’s Ford Solid Waste Facility in Plant City and the Wimauma Solid Waste Facility will resume their standard schedule of 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

These sites had been operating with extended hours to accommodate the large volume of storm debris generated by Hurricane Milton. However, with residential drop-offs decreasing significantly, the county has decided to scale back their hours.

  • Furniture
  • Empty appliances
  • Tires
  • Batteries
  • Electronics
  • Paint

Important Note: Yard waste and wood disposal are not accepted at these facilities.

Three other Community Collection Centers in Hillsborough County will maintain their extended hours (7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., seven days a week):

  • Northwest County Solid Waste Facility
  • South County Solid Waste Facility
  • Hillsborough Heights Solid Waste Facility

Hillsborough County continues to actively collect storm debris from neighborhoods throughout the county. Over 150 specialized trucks are working seven days a week to clear debris.
