ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Detectives are investigating an apparent murder-suicide that occurred at Parklane Condominiums on 48th Avenue North this afternoon.
Shortly before 2:30 p.m., the police department received a call for a welfare check. Upon arrival, officers found two deceased individuals inside a residence.
“The deceased are a man and woman who were in a domestic relationship. The preliminary investigation shows the man shot his girlfriend, then shot himself,” said SPPD.

Their names and ages will be released once the next of kin for both victims are notified.
