Two Florida men have been arrested after repeatedly stealing jewelry among other property at the same residence.
Deputies responded to a home on SE 34th Court, in Marion County, in reference to a residential burglary. The victim told deputies someone entered the home and stole jewelry.
Deputies responded to the same residence later in the shift to report additional stolen property.
Upon arrival, Johnathon Holmes was seen riding a bicycle nearby, wearing the stolen jewelry from the earlier report. Holmes admitted to stealing the jewelry. He was arrested and taken to the Marion County Jail.

The same investigation revealed that Jesse Griggs was responsible for stealing the victim’s ladder, tree stand, and outdoor fireplace.
Deputies contacted Griggs, who also admitted to stealing the property. He was also arrested and transported to the Marion County Jail.
