Two brothers have been arrested after opening fire and shooting at cars in broad daylight on Tuesday, according to police.
Investigators say, at 1:15 pm on Tuesday officers in St. Petersburg, saw two men open fire on vehicles near Fairfield Ave. S and 44th St. S.
Investigators say the pair fled in a car and officers pursued the vehicle and two suspects were taken into custody near the intersection of Dartmouth Ave. N and 58th St. N.
Both suspects, Robert Walker, 21, and Montarious Walker, 18, who are brothers, were charged with Attempted Homicide.
In addition, Robert Walker had an outstanding warrant for Auto Theft out of Hillsborough County. He was also charged with Violation of Probation for a previous Armed Robbery charge which was also in St. Pete.
Police say that other charges are pending.
