MONROE COUNTY, Fla. – Two individuals were cited for possession of undersized fish and stone crab in separate incidents over the weekend in Islamorada. Marine Deputy Nelson Sanchez issued mandatory notices to appear in court to both individuals.
Sergio Yuri Sardinas, 62, of Miami, Florida, was found to be in possession of an undersized mutton snapper while fishing near Mile Marker 76 on the bayside at approximately 4:05 p.m. on Saturday.

The following day, Sunday, at approximately 2:06 p.m., David Pamperin, 73, of Islamorada, Florida, was found to be in possession of seven undersized stone crab claws while fishing near Mile Marker 87 on the bayside.
