ZEPHYRHILLS, Fla. – Two individuals have been arrested following an accidental shooting at a Zephyrhills In & Out drive-thru on December 27th.
The incident occurred around 10:55 AM when a vehicle with four occupants entered the drive-thru lane. While one of the occupants was preparing to place an order, a firearm was unintentionally discharged from the back seat, striking the front seat passenger.

The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Zephyrhills Police have arrested two individuals in connection with the shooting:
Angel Josue Rodriguez (19 years old) was charged with Carrying a Concealed Firearm, Culpable Negligence, and Improper Exhibition of a Firearm.
Jonathan Xavier Rivera (20 years old) was charged with Tampering with Evidence and Carrying a Concealed Firearm.

The In & Out drive-thru temporarily suspended operations as a precaution but has since reopened. Police emphasized that the business was not a target in the incident and there is no ongoing threat to the public.
