Trump’s Truth Social Gets Huge Bump Post FBI Raid Of Mar-A -Lago

The FBI raid on former President Donald Trump’s Palm Beach estate may be proving to create more headaches for Democrats.

It’s helping him spread his message through his favorite medium: social media.

The Washington Examiner reported that the app for Truth Social, Trump’s social media platform, witnessed a 550 percent boost in downloads after the FBI sicced 30 agents on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home.

The liberal website Vice News also reported on the spike.

According to Vice, “In the week prior to the August 8 search of Mar-a-Lago, the Truth Social app was downloaded less than 20,000 times, averaging around 2,500 downloads per day from Apple’s app store.”

“However in the week after the search, details of which were first announced publicly by Trump himself on Truth Social, it was downloaded 107,500 times, an average of 13,400 per day.”

The Examiner added that Trump now has 3 million followers on Truth Social – which is a tiny fraction of the 88 million followers he claimed on Twitter before being permanently banned after the Jan. 6, 2021, riot at the U.S. Capitol.

Trump launched Truth Social earlier this year.

Trump, appropriately enough, used Truth Social to promote the news that his platform was growing.

“It’s amazing, I’ve had two stories—one in Politico, one in the Fake New York Times, where in the midst of the story, they say that I put my message out on Truth Social, a ‘little-used’ site with ‘few’ people watching. More Fake News,” he posted on Saturday.

“They know it’s now one of the hottest sites in the world, but they will never admit it, that’s why they call them the Fake News. Everyone is watching @truthsocial!”
