Fresh off polling that shows former President Donald Trump had opened his biggest lead over incumbent President Joe Biden, Trump has widened that gap even more.
Trump holds a 10-point advantage over Biden in a newly released survey by right-leaning pollster Rasmussen Reports.
In its poll conducted last week, Rasmussen noted that Trump leads Biden by a 46-36 margin if independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is included in the mix. RFK Jr. was polled at 9% in the survey.

Rasmussen Reports further noted that Trump’s lead was up from last month, when he outpaced Biden 44-38, with Kennedy pulling 10% at the time.
A recent Gallup poll found that Biden’s job approval rating for the 13th quarter of his presidency, which ended in April, was the worst of his term so far and was the worst among all presidents in modern U.S. history.
Gallup found that Biden averaged a 38.7% approval score during the 13th quarter. “None of the other nine presidents elected to their first term since Dwight Eisenhower had a lower 13th-quarter average than Biden,” Gallup observed.
At the same point in his presidency, Trump had an approval rating of 46.8%, nearly 1 point higher than President Barack Obama’s.
Donors are responding.
Trump’s campaign and the Republican National Committee said on Sunday that they hauled in $76 million in April, which was up $11 million over April.
“President Donald J. Trump is not only winning across every battleground state, but we are raising the resources necessary to deliver a victory in November,” Trump campaign senior advisers Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles said in a statement, the Epoch Times reported.
“With half of funds raised coming from small-dollar donors, it is clear that our base is energized. The Republican Party is united, and voters nationwide are ready to FIRE Joe Biden and elect President Donald J. Trump.”
