In Florida, Amendment 4, if passed, would enshrine the right to an abortion in the state constitution up until fetal viability or when necessary for the patient’s health.

Floridians Protecting Freedom, the group spearheading the effort to pass Amendment 4, has raised $47 million as of August 19.

In an interview Friday, former President Trump said that he would vote no on the Florida amendment but disagrees with the current 6-week abortion limit the state has now.

“I think six weeks, you need more time than six weeks, I’ve disagreed with that right from the early primaries, when I heard about it, I disagreed with it. At the same time, the Democrats are radical because the nine months is just a ridiculous situation. That way you can do an abortion in the ninth month and you know, some of the states like Minnesota and other states have it where you could actually execute the baby after birth,” said Trump.
