It’s been only one day since former President Donald Trump was arraigned on federal charges in the classified documents case.

In that one day, the Trump campaign raised over $6 million for his 2024 presidential bid.

“Since deranged Jack Smith took the unprecedented step of weaponizing the justice system to attack his political opponent, Donald J. Trump for President 2024 has raised more than $6.6 million in just a few short days,” said the Trump campaign. “In a clear sign of the steadfast support President Donald J. Trump enjoys from grassroots Patriots across the nation, over $4.5 million has been raised from digital fundraising, with an additional $2.1 million raised at President Trump’s event at Bedminster last night.”

“The American people will not stand for this corrupt attempt to interfere in the 2024 election against the leading candidate for President who will demolish the Deep State and finish the job of draining the Swamp. Universal polling both nationally and statewide has shown President Trump holding insurmountable leads and is the only candidate who can beat Joe Biden in a general election,” said the Trump camp on Wednesday.

Trump entered a plea of “not guilty” to all counts during his arraignment on Tuesday after Special Counsel Jack Smith secured a grand jury indictment on 37 counts as the result of an investigation into classified documents that were the subject of an Aug. 8, 2022 raid on Mar-a-Lago, the Florida estate Trump owns.

The indictment was unsealed on Friday by the Justice Department and included charges related to the Espionage Act, making false statements, and “conspiracy to obstruct justice.”

Trump announced last Thursday that he’d been informed of the indictment released Friday, unveiling 31 counts of alleged violations of the Espionage Act tied with Smith’s documents probe and the August raid on Mar-a-Lago. Trump is charged with 37 counts in total.

Trump pointed to the documents found in the Penn-Biden Center, the president’s think tank in Washington, D.C., and Biden’s Delaware home from his time as vice president, as well as the classified document found in former Vice President Mike Pence’s home. He slammed Smith for being “deranged” and a “Trump-hater,” and criticized the lack of charges brought against both Pence and Biden.

Trump also spoke during a visit to a Miami café following his arraignment on Tuesday, thanking the city of Miami.

“We have a rigged country. We have a country that’s corrupt,” Trump said at the Versailles Restaurant, where a number of ministers prayed with the former president after his court appearance. “We have a county that’s got no borders. We have a country that’s got nothing but problems. We’re a nation in decline and then they do this stuff, and you see where the people are.”

“El ex presidente Donald Trump reza con el pastor Mario Bramnick, tercero desde la derecha, y otras personas en el restaurante Versailles el martes 13 de junio de 2023 en Miami,” tweeted Ricardo Robaina.
