Former President Donald Trump is projected to win the presidency, securing a historic second term nearly four years after departing Washington and becoming the 47 President of the United States.

Trump’s victory was sealed with a decisive win in Wisconsin, a state he narrowly lost in the previous election, completing a remarkable political comeback.

Senator JD Vance is set to become the 50th Vice President of the United States.

Voter dissatisfaction with the Biden administration played a major role in this election, with Trump gaining unexpected support in urban areas, particularly among male voters.

After a tightly contested 100-day campaign, Trump secured the 270 electoral votes needed to return to the White House, flipping Georgia back into his column, holding onto North Carolina, and breaking through the “blue wall.”

Trump is also projected to win the popular vote, a feat he did not achieve in 2016 and a rare accomplishment for Republicans since 1992.

Running alongside Senator JD Vance of Ohio, Trump capitalized on voter frustrations over rising costs, increased migration at the southern border, and global instability under the Biden administration.

Together, they presented a case for a return to Trump’s policies, ultimately securing a convincing victory in a historic political comeback.

Vice President Kamala Harris will hold off on responding to former President Donald Trump’s projected election victory until tomorrow, her team announced. Harris is expected to address the election results in her remarks.
