Former President Donald Trump announced Thursday that his campaign raised nearly $140 million in July.

In a fundraising update, Trump’s campaign reported a total intake of $138.7 million for July, bringing their cash to $327 million.

This announcement follows Trump’s confirmation as the GOP’s presidential nominee at the Republican National Committee in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and comes after the failed assassination attempt against him in Butler, Pennsylvania.

This marks a notable increase from June when the campaign raised just under $112 million.

Following Trump’s conviction by a Manhattan jury on May 30, the campaign raised $54.8 million within 24 hours of the verdict, according to an online post from the group.

Federal Election Commission (FEC) filings in May revealed that Trump outpaced President Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee, in campaign fundraising. Trump and the Republican National Committee raised $141 million during the month, compared to $85 million raised by Biden’s campaign and the Democratic National Committee.

Since Biden endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris after he ended his reelection bid on July 21, her campaign has reportedly amassed an estimated $200 million, though official numbers have not yet been filed, according to Politico.

Before Biden withdrew from the 2024 race, his campaign had approximately $240 million. Harris reportedly controls some of those funds, estimated to be around $95 million by the end of June.
