Following the suspension of Florida Governor DeSantis’ presidential campaign, the Trump campaign praised the governor and warned GOP voters to ‘choose wisely.’
“With only a few days left until President Donald J. Trump’s victory in New Hampshire, we are honored by the endorsement from Governor Ron DeSantis and so many other former presidential candidates. It is now time for all Republicans to rally behind President Trump to defeat Crooked Joe Biden and end his disastrous presidency,” said the Trump campaign Sunday.
“Nikki Haley is the candidate of the globalists and Democrats who will do everything to stop the America First movement. From higher taxes, to decimating Social Security and Medicare, and to open borders, she represents the views of Democrats more than the views of Republicans. It’s time to choose wisely,” concluded the Trump campaign.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis suspended his Republican presidential campaign on the eve of the New Hampshire primary, bringing an end to a White House bid that failed to meet expectations of emerging as a serious challenger to former President Donald Trump.
The governor entered the 2024 presidential race with significant advantages in his bid to defeat Trump, and early primary polls indicated DeSantis was in a strong position to do just that.
He and his allies amassed a political fortune worth more than $100 million, and he had a strong legislative record on issues important to many conservatives, such as abortion and the teaching of race and gender issues in schools.
