Former President Donald Trump called for jailing members of the Democrat-picked J6 committee after a bombshell report about how they willfully withheld evidence about Trump’s actions that day.
At issue is the recent testimony of a Secret Service agent who drove Trump around Washington on Jan. 6, 2021, as the riot unfolded.
As the Tampa Free Press reported last week, the driver’s newly released transcript refuted testimony by Cassidy Hutchinson, a former Trump White House aide, who told the J6 committee in 2022 that as the riot erupted, a belligerent Trump screamed to be taken to the Capitol.

When his security detail denied his request, for concern of being able to adequately protect him, Hutchison told the J6 committee that the then-president lunged at the driver, grabbed the steering wheel of his limo and tried to reverse course.
The driver testified that never happened.
“He never grabbed the steering wheel. I didn’t see him, you know, lunge to try to get into the front seat at all,” the unnamed driver said. “You know, what stood out was the irritation in his voice, more than his physical presence.”
Trump’s latest irritated rant about the J6 panel was driven by a JustTheNews.com story about the agent’s testimony. The outlet revealed former Republican Rep. Liz Cheney, a well known Trump hater, lied about his actions that day.
“Congressional officials confirmed to Just the News on Monday that ex-Rep. Liz Cheney, the vice chairwoman of the Jan. 6 committee run by Democrats, personally participated in the interview of the Secret Service driver and was aware of his statements contradicting Hutchinson,” JTN reported.

Continuing, JTN, citing the recent report on the J6 committee’s activities by GOP Rep. Barry Loudermilk, chairman of the House Administration subcommittee on J6, noted, “White House officials also told the original Jan. 6 committee that there never was a plan to go to the Capitol that day and that Trump, while angry in the SUV, did not try to force it to go to the scene of the riot.”
“None of the White House employees corroborated Hutchinson’s sensational story about President Trump lunging for the steering wheel of the Beast,” Loudermilk’s report said.
“However, some witnesses did describe the President’s mood after the speech at the Ellipse. It is highly improbable that the other White House Employees would have heard about the President’s mood in the SUV following his speech at the Ellipse, but not heard the sensational story.”
Yet despite knowing that Hutchinson was lying, or at least did not know the events first-hand, Cheney and the others pushed Hutchinson’s story.
In response to the JTN piece, Trump posted about Cheney on Sunday on Truth Social, his social media platform.
“She should go to Jail along with the rest of the Unselect Committee!” he said.
