The proposed amendment, appearing on the ballot as Amendment 3, would allow adults 21 and older to “possess, purchase, or use marijuana products and marijuana accessories for non-medical personal consumption by smoking, ingestion, or otherwise.”
Governor Ron DeSantis is spearheading efforts to block the measure, with state agencies airing controversial ads aimed at deterring voters. Florida voters previously approved a constitutional amendment for medical marijuana use in 2016.
