Triple Shooting In Tampa Leaves 3 Men Hospitalized; Police Search For 2 Suspects

TAMPA, Fla. – Three men are in critical but stable condition after a shooting in East Tampa Wednesday evening. Police are searching for two suspects.

Tampa Police officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1700 block of East Sitka Street around 6:30 PM. Upon arrival, they found three men in their 20s suffering from gunshot wounds. The victims were rushed to a local hospital for treatment.

Preliminary investigations reveal that the victims were sitting outside when they were approached by two unknown assailants who opened fire. Witnesses reported seeing two males fleeing the scene on foot immediately after the shooting.

Detectives are currently working to determine the motive behind the attack and are actively seeking any video footage that may aid in the investigation. A search is underway for the two suspects involved in the shooting.
