TREASURE ISLAND, Fla. – After an extensive search that began with 61 candidates, Treasure Island has chosen Charles (Chuck) Anderson as its new City Manager. The rigorous selection process, facilitated by Strategic Government Resources, involved narrowing the field to 12 semi-finalists, then five, and finally four after one candidate withdrew.
This week, the mayor, commissioners, and city staff interviewed each finalist, conducted community tours, and held a meet and greet for residents and stakeholders. Following public interviews at a Special City Commission Meeting today, the Commission unanimously voted to hire Chuck Anderson.
