TREASURE ISLAND, Fla.- Rescue teams are actively evacuating people from Treasure Island. For those not requiring medical assistance, a bus service is available to transport individuals off the island.

Bus Schedule:

  • Hourly departures starting at 9 a.m.
  • Pick-up points:
    • 9:00 a.m. – 7/11 (9695 Gulf Blvd.)
    • 9:15 a.m. – Roselli Park (12299 Capri Circle South)
    • 9:30 a.m. – T.I. Park and Community Center (One Park Place)  
  • Drop-off: Park Street and Central Avenue in St. Petersburg, with PSTA transfers to Ross Norton Recreation Center shelter in Clearwater.
  • PSTA transfer times: 10 a.m., noon, 2 p.m., 4 p.m., 6 p.m., 8 p.m.

Current Situation:

  • Public Works crews are clearing debris and sand from roadways.
  • Power outages affect most of the island.
  • Potable water is restricted, and lift stations are operating at 50% capacity.
  • Comfort stations will open later today, providing cooling, showers, charging facilities, and rest areas.

Reopening:
