SUMTER COUNTY, Fla.– A Jeep Wrangler became disabled on railroad tracks east of US-301 on CR-720 this morning at around 8:20 am, resulting in a collision with a passing CSX freight train.

The driver, a 57-year-old woman from Bushnell, was unable to move the vehicle off the tracks at the ungated crossing and abandoned it before the train, with approximately 80 rail cars, struck the Jeep.
