HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – A devastating crash on Interstate 4 near Milepost 10 resulted in the death of a one-year-old and left multiple individuals injured.
The incident occurred Friday at around 12:45 a.m. when a Jeep Cherokee, driven by a 21-year-old woman from Englewood, collided with the rear of a Toyota RAV4 traveling eastbound, driven by a 30-year-old woman from Dundee.
The collision caused both vehicles to come to rest along the outside shoulder and inside the eastbound lane of the interstate.
Both drivers sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment. A 34-year-old Orlando woman, also a passenger in the Toyota RAV4, was uninjured in the crash.
