HUDSON, Fla – The Pasco Sheriff’s Office is asking for the community’s assistance in identifying a motorcyclist who struck and injured a deputy during an attempted traffic stop in Hudson yesterday afternoon.
The incident occurred on Friday, April 11th, around 2:00 p.m. near the intersection of US Highway 19 and Beach Boulevard. According to the Sheriff’s Office, a deputy initiated a traffic stop on a black Suzuki SV650 motorcycle. As the deputy exited his patrol vehicle and approached the motorcycle, the rider reportedly accelerated directly toward the deputy.

The impact struck the deputy, who was then dragged approximately ten feet before the motorcyclist fled the scene. The deputy sustained non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the assault.
Investigators are searching for the suspect, described as a white male with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a white full-face helmet, a tan shirt, black shorts, and high-top sneakers. The motorcycle involved was a black Suzuki SV650.
The Pasco Sheriff’s Office urges anyone who may have witnessed the incident, recognizes the description of the suspect or the motorcycle, or has any information regarding the suspect’s identity or whereabouts to come forward.
