KEY WEST, Fla. – Motorists traveling to and from Key West this weekend should anticipate traffic delays due to the U.S. Naval Air Station Key West 2025 Southernmost Air Spectacular. The highly anticipated air show will take place on Saturday, March 29th, and Sunday, March 30th, at Boca Chica Field on Boca Chica Key, with gates opening at 10 a.m. each day.
The free, public event will feature the U.S. Navy’s Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels, along with other thrilling aerial demonstrations by both military and civilian performers. Static military and vintage aircraft will also be on display.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is advising motorists to expect significant delays on the four-lane section of U.S. 1 on Boca Chica Key during the air show. Travelers are urged to plan their trips accordingly and allow for extra travel time.
Important Traffic Restrictions:
- No stopping or parking will be permitted on the shoulder, curb, or directly on U.S. 1 during the event.
- Sheriff’s Office Traffic Enforcement Unit Deputies and Florida Highway Patrol Troopers will be actively patrolling the area, particularly between Stock Island and Big Coppitt Key, to enforce these restrictions.
Attendees and other drivers are asked to adhere to these rules to ensure the safety and smooth flow of traffic during the air show.
