TAMPA, Fla. – Drivers in Tampa should expect delays on North 39th Street today due to a lane closure for water maintenance.
Starting at 9:00 AM this morning, the outside northbound lane of North 39th Street will be closed between East Adamo Drive and East 7th Avenue. This closure is necessary to allow the Tampa Water Department to conduct maintenance on the water distribution system.

Barricades and signs will be in place to help direct traffic and assist with rerouting. Drivers are encouraged to consider alternate routes and exercise caution when traveling in the area.
The Tampa Water Department anticipates completing the work and reopening the lane by 5:00 PM today. However, they may need to return at a later date for additional maintenance, in which case an update will be provided.
Work schedules are subject to change depending on weather conditions.
