TAMPA, Fla. – Weather permitting, there will be temporary ramp closures tonight, Thursday, November 14th, from 11:00 PM to Friday, November 15th, at 6:00 AM.
This closure affects motorists exiting Tampa International Airport who typically use the ramps leading to westbound State Road 60 (Memorial Highway) and northbound State Road 589 (Veterans Expressway).

Here’s what you need to know:
- Detour for Airport Exits: Travelers leaving the airport will be directed to use the Spruce Street ramp. Stay right at the fork and continue east on Spruce Street. Turn south onto Westshore Boulevard and then west onto Kennedy Boulevard. Finally, head north to reach the SR 60 and SR 589 ramps.
- Spruce Street Westbound Detour: Drivers traveling westbound on Spruce Street will also be detoured around the construction zone. Use Westshore Boulevard and Kennedy Boulevard to access SR 60 and SR 589.
Reason for Closure:
These closures are necessary to facilitate overhead sign installation for the ongoing project widening westbound SR 60 near the airport.
Be aware of these temporary closures and allow extra travel time if you’re departing Tampa International Airport tonight.
