PASCO COUNTY Fla. – Investigators described the slaying of a man in his home by an intruder as an ‘execution’.
On February 14, 2004, Todd George Novak, 43, was attacked in his living room when he got home late that Saturday night, Pasco County sheriff’s investigators said.
The body of Todd George Novak, 43, was found by employees of his hauling business early the next day.
No one has been charged with the killing, a sheriff’s spokesman said. No details of the killing have been released, other than that Novak’s death was a result of “homicidal violence.”
Novak had a home security system and had been practicing martial arts, neighbors said.
Detectives are trying to identify the man in the photo below. The man in the ball cap was on the Publix security video and had called Novak’s home on the evening of 2/13/2004.
The Publix is located at Lutz Lake Fern Road and Dale Mabry Highway.
