WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Winter Haven Police are asking for the public’s help to identify the subjects who were involved in the fatal stabbing at Publix on Thursday.
According to police, a man was inside the Publix in Northgate Shopping Plaza near the customer service desk when a group of men entered behind him, and a fight started. The group ran from the store and left the scene, police say.
“It appears the man at the counter cut one of the men in the group during the fight,” police said.

A male stabbing victim was later dropped off at the Winter Haven Emergency Department entrance, with the driver of the vehicle leaving. Police say the victim died from his injuries
The Publix Store at 1395 Sixth St. NW (Northgate Shopping Center) was closed during the investigation
