POLK COUNTY, Fla. – Starting Thursday, August 8th, Polk County will close a section of Timberlane Road in unincorporated Lake Wales for two weeks to replace multiple cross drains beneath the roadway.
The closure will affect the quarter-mile stretch south of the intersection with Canal Road.
This drainage work is in preparation for an upcoming resurfacing project on Timberlane Road from Lakeside Drive to Canal Road, as well as Canal Road from Hacksaw Heights Trail to Black Road.
