HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – The New Tampa Performing Arts Center (NTPAC) has announced that tickets for its 2024 fall events are now available.

This season will feature popular returning series, such as New Tampa Unplugged and New Tampa Jazz Nights, along with exciting new additions like the Florida Orchestra’s chamber series and the Steinway Piano Series, which will debut performances on NTPAC’s brand-new Steinway & Sons Model D Concert Grand piano.

The September lineup offers a diverse array of events, from film screenings to concerts spanning classical, rock, and jazz genres, along with the annual Fall Festival.

NTPAC Annual Fall Festival

Thursday, Sept. 12 – Sunday, Sept. 15
NTPAC will host a free four-day festival featuring performances by local Tampa Bay artists, with activities and entertainment for all ages. The festival includes music, theater, dance, comedy, and more. For more information, visit NewTampaArtsCenter.org/Events.

Florida Orchestra Soundwaves Chamber Orchestra Series: The Intimate Mahler: Symphony No. 1

Thursday, Sept. 26, at 7:30 p.m.
The Florida Orchestra (TFO) brings its Soundwaves Chamber Orchestra Series to NTPAC, providing audiences with the chance to hear Mahler’s Symphony No. 1 in an intimate chamber setting. The program also includes Ayanna Witter-Johnson’s Blush and Mason Bates’ The Rise of Exotic Computing. Chelsea Gallo conducts. Tickets are $30 and available at FloridaOrchestra.org.

Steinway Piano Series: The Roam Duo Featuring Svetozar Ivanov and Ghadeer Abaido

Friday, Sept. 27, at 7:30 p.m.
The Steinway Piano Series will feature Steinway Artist Svetozar Ivanov and Ghadeer Abaido of The Roam Duo, presenting a unique piano performance that blends creativity and collaboration across artistic disciplines. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at NewTampaArtsCenter.org/Tickets.

New Tampa Jazz Nights: James Suggs – A Tribute to Miles Davis

Saturday, Sept. 28, at 8 p.m.
Presented in partnership with the Tampa Jazz Club, the New Tampa Jazz Nights season opener features the James Suggs Quintet in a tribute to jazz legend Miles Davis. Tickets range from $10-$30 and can be purchased through Tampa Jazz Club.

New Tampa Unplugged: The Lint Rollers

Sunday, Sept. 29, at 3 p.m.
Inspired by MTV Unplugged, the New Tampa Unplugged series showcases acoustic performances by local artists. The Lint Rollers will perform a set of late ‘60s and early ‘70s Woodstock-era music with a twist, blending in unexpected covers from bands like The Ramones. Five-Dollar Flicks

NTPAC offers affordable movie screenings at just $5 per ticket. This month’s feature film is the romantic classic The Notebook on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 7:30 p.m. The kids’ series kicks off with Hocus Pocus on Saturday, Sept. 28, at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased at NewTampaArtsCenter.org/tickets.
