Three law enforcement officers are in hot water after a viral video of them beating a man was released on social media.
Two Crawford County, Arkansas Sheriff’s deputies have been suspended and a Mulberry, Arkansas police officer was placed on leave after the shocking video was released.
According to reports, law enforcement was investigating an incident of a man threatening an employee at a gas station in Mulberry.
The officers claim that when they responded, the suspect Randall Worcester, 27, punched a deputy, resulting in a brutal struggle, caught on camera.
Worcester was hospitalized after the incident and subsequently transported to jail where he was booked on multiple charges relating to the call for service.
Crawford County Sheriff Jimmy Damante stated, “In reference to the video circulating social media involving two Crawford County deputies, we have requested that Arkansas State Police conduct the investigation and the deputies have been suspended pending the outcome of the investigation.”
