GIBSONTON, Fla. – The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) has apprehended three suspects in Gibsonton following a coordinated undercover operation targeting drug activity in the area.
On December 5, 2024, the HCSO Street Crimes Unit conducted an undercover investigation that identified 34-year-old Roy Sprouse as a methamphetamine and fentanyl supplier. Deputies observed Sprouse selling the substances to 29-year-old Adolfo Regino and arrested Sprouse without incident.

Regino, however, fled the scene, prompting the HCSO Aviation Section to assist in the search. The team tracked Regino to a residence on Corwin Street, where deputies discovered and arrested 40-year-old Anthony Greco, another known offender with active warrants.
Continuing their search for Regino, the Aviation Section located him hiding under a trailer near the residence. Deputies made contact and arrested him without further resistance.
The three suspects face a variety of charges, reflecting their extensive criminal histories:
Adolfo Regino
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell or Deliver
- Driving with License Canceled, Suspended, or Revoked
- Resisting Officer without Violence
- Unlawful Possession of Personal Identification of Another
- Felon Carrying Concealed Weapon
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Delivery of a Controlled Substance (2 counts)
- Possession of a Controlled Substance (2 counts)
- Failure to Appear: Felon in Possession of Firearm
- Failure to Appear: Aggravated Assault with Deadly Weapon
- Failure to Appear: Sexual Cyberharassment
- Failure to Appear: Violation of Domestic Violence Injunction
- Violation of Domestic Violence Injunction
Anthony Greco
- Failure to Appear: Felony Petit Theft
- Violation of Probation: Felony Petit Theft (2 counts, no bond)
Roy Sprouse
- Delivery of a Controlled Substance (2 counts)
