The Florida Lottery announced three new millionaires this past week with combined winnings of $4,000,000!
On Tuesday, the Florida Lottery announced that LeeAnn Rivera, 39, of Port Saint Lucie, claimed a $1 million prize from the 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee.
She chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.00.
Rivera purchased her winning ticket from 7-Eleven, located at 198 North A1A in Satellite Beach. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The $50 game, 500X THE CASH, features a top prize of $25 million—the largest ever offered on a Florida Scratch-Off game—and the best odds to become an instant millionaire! The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-4.50.
Then on Friday, Howard Creps, 40, of Land O’ Lakes, also claimed a $1 million prize from the 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.00.
Creps purchased his winning ticket from Land O’ Lakes BP, located at 4109 Land O’ Lakes Boulevard in Land O’ Lakes. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
Also on Friday, Richard Awe, 34, of Boca Raton, claimed a $2 million top prize from the $2,000,000 BONUS CASHWORD Scratch-Off game at Lottery Headquarters in Tallahassee. Hechose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,645,000.00.
Awe purchased his winning ticket from Discount Food Stop, located at 10801 Northeast 13 Avenue in Miami. The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.
The $10 game, $2,000,000 BONUS CASHWORD, launched in May and features eight top prizes of $2 million and 20 second-tier prizes of $100,000! The game’s overall odds of winning are one-in-3.12.
Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, comprising approximately 75 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $1.3 billion for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2020-21.
