Three Florida Lottery Scratch-Off Players Announced, $4 Million In Winnings Last Week

The Florida Lottery announced three lottery scratch-off winners in Flordia, last week, totaling combined winnings of $4,000,000.

On Tuesday, the Florida Lottery announced that Ramon Diaz Moreno, 52, of Tampa, claimed a $1 million prize from the 500X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s Tampa District Office.

He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $820,000.00.

The $50 game, 500X THE CASH, features a top prize of $25 million—the largest ever offered on a Florida Scratch-Off game—and the best odds to become an instant millionaire! The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-4.50.

Also on Tuesday, Sheldon Jackson, 46, of St. Petersburg, claimed a $1 million top prize from the $5 MONOPOLY DOUBLER Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s Tampa District Office.

He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $798,985.00.

Jackson purchased his winning ticket from DQ Food Mart, located at 1730 4th Street South in St. Petersburg. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The Florida Lottery also announced that Fidel Avila, 65, of Hialeah, claimed a $2 million top prize from the 100X THE CASH Scratch-Off game at the Lottery’s Miami District Office.

He chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,645,000.00.

Avila purchased his winning ticket from Publix, located at 6901Taft Street in Hollywood. The retailer will receive a $4,000 bonus commission for selling the winning Scratch-Off ticket.

The $10 game, 100X THE CASH, launched in January 2022 and features more than $337.9 million in cash prizes, including eight top prizes of $2,000,000! The game’s overall odds of winning are 1-in-3.44.

Scratch-Off games are an important part of the Lottery’s portfolio of games, comprising approximately 72 percent of ticket sales and generating more than $1.6 billion for the Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF) in fiscal year 2022-23.
