ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Boys & Girls Clubs of the Suncoast celebrates three of its exceptional members – Da’Mya, Christian, and Dynora – who have been awarded college scholarships totaling nearly $40,000.
These scholarships, a result of a partnership with the Florida Prepaid College Foundation and community donors, will empower these students as they begin their college journeys in the fall of 2025.
- Da’Mya, from the Northside Club, plans to attend Florida A&M University (FAMU) to pursue a major in Biology with a minor in Criminal Justice, aiming for a career as a forensic scientist.
- Christian, from Club Re-Imagine, will attend Dartmouth College to study Engineering while also playing on the lacrosse team.
- Dynora, from the Wood Valley Club, is interested in pursuing a degree in Technology at St. Petersburg College.

Beyond their academic achievements, these scholarship recipients have completed personal finance training and opened 529 college savings plans, demonstrating their commitment to financial preparedness for their education.

Thanks to the scholarships provided, Da’Mya, Christian, and Dynora now have the opportunity to pursue their passions and pave the way for a brighter future.”
