POLK COUNTY, Fla. – The third suspect has been arrested in the attempted murder of a Florida FWC officer on Saturday night, according to investigators.
Polk County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement, “The third suspect was identified and apprehended in South Florida. His name is Rodrigo Alberto Mato La Rosa, 27, of Hialeah.”
The suspects’ charges and bond amounts are:
Michel Amalfi:
Attempted murder of a LEO (F2) – no bond Resisting arrest (F3) – $1,000 bond Tampering with evidence (F3) – $1,000 bond Keeping a nuisance injurious to health (M2) – $250 bond
Lazaro Millian is being held on no bond, as he is on hold for a Miami-Dade warrant:
- Attempted murder of a LEO (F2)
- Resisting arrest (F3)
- Tampering with evidence (F3)
- Keeping a nuisance injurious to health (M2) Unauthorized possession of crate (M1) Miami-Dade warrant for VOP – grand theft (M2)
Rodrigo Alberto Mato La Rosa had a Polk County warrant for his arrest for:
- Attempted murder of a LEO (F2)
- Resisting arrest (F3)
La Rosa is being held in custody in South Florida and will be transferred to Polk County custody.
