The USF Bulls’ 2025 Football Schedule Includes Consecutive Trips To Gainesville And Miami

TAMPA, Fla. – The American released its 2025 football schedule Friday and it is certainly favorable when it comes to travel, or lack thereof, for the Bulls. Alex Golesh’s squad does not traverse outside the Sunshine State until mid-season when it plays at North Texas.

The schedule, which includes three weeknight dates, opens August 28 at home with a very appealing non-conference opponent in Boise State, which was the top Group of Five team and No. 3 seed in the first year of the expanded 12-team playoff.

After hosting the Broncos, the Bulls hit the road each of the next two weeks to Gainesville and Miami on September 6 and September 13, respectively. It will their third trip to UF and fourth to Miami. USF is 0-3 against the Gators and 1-5 versus the Hurricanes.

The Bulls return to Raymond James Stadium on September 20 to play FCS member South Carolina State.

Following a week off, USF has consecutive Friday dates against conference opponents. The first is at home against Charlotte on October 3 and then the first out-of-state trip on October 10 at North Texas. FAU comes to Tampa the following Saturday before the Bulls travel to Memphis to close the month.

The Bulls kick off the final month of the season when they host UTSA on Thursday, November 5. The next two weeks are on the road at Annapolis to take on Navy and at UAB. The regular season concludes with a visit from Rice on November 29.
