“The President Is Here” Ukraine’s President Refutes Rumors He Fled The Country

Ukraine’s President Zelensky posts a new video of himself and his team outside the presidential administration in Kyiv’s government quarter after rumors in Russian media that he’d fled.

“We’re all here. Our military is here. Citizens in society are here. We’re all here defending our independence, our country, and it will stay this way,” Zelensky said, standing outside the presidency building.

In a television address Friday, Russian President Putin called Zelensky’s government “terrorists” and “a gang of drug addicts and neo-Nazis”, urging the Ukrainian military to mutiny.

Earlier Friday, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said, “Our air defense forces are demonstrating true military prowess, destroying modern enemy planes and helicopters, shooting down cruise missiles in the sky. Hundreds of lives saved!

“I thank the Land Forces, SSO, DShV, Air Force, Navy, SBGS, National Guard, National Police, SBU, intelligence, TRO, SES for biting into our land and turning it into hell for the invader.

The enemy did not achieve the previously set strategic goals. His strength is weakening. We are getting stronger every hour!”
