Charges have been filed against Sanden James George, 35, in connection with the death of a woman at on Sunday, August 18th.
George is charged with murder and assault on a family member. The identity of the victim, 41, is pending verification.
According to Houston PD Homicide Division Detectives, patrol officers responded to an auto-pedestrian crash at the intersection and found the deceased woman.

An investigation revealed that George had a physical altercation with a 24-year-old woman before attempting to hit her with his vehicle. She sustained minor injuries.
George’s vehicle then struck another woman, and he fled the scene on foot.
He was apprehended by HPD officers shortly after and taken to a hospital for treatment before being released into police custody.

Further investigation led to George’s identification and subsequent charges. He is currently booked into the Harris County Jail.
