A fugitive wanted for murder in Texas was arrested on Interstate 75 in Collier County on February 20, 2025, by Florida Highway Patrol.

FHP troopers encountered a pedestrian walking northbound on Alligator Alley. The individual initially provided a false name but was later identified as Angel Kelly Alejandro, 27, of Texas.

A warrant check revealed that Alejandro was wanted on felony charges in Texas, including:

  • Child Sex Contact
  • Possession with Intent to Promote Child Pornography
  • Murder

Alejandro was arrested and booked into the Collier County Jail, where he awaits extradition to Texas.
