Cameron Chan was granted a Magical Dream from the Sunshine Foundation for a family trip to Florida. Cameron lives with a DiGeorge Syndrome, a type of genetic disorder.
“I believe the trip has such an impact on Cameron because, for the first time in a long time, he felt like he was seen and he was treated like everyone else coming into the Disney World theme park. The Cast members at all the Disney Parks made Cameron feel so welcomed and he felt like a normal teenager, so much so that he even rode some of the scariest and fastest rides at Disney, i.e. – Tower of Terror and Tron. I cannot say thank you enough to you and your staff and the generous donors who made this trip so magical for Cameron; thank you for Pixie Dusting Cameron and our family,” said Cameron’s Dad from Spring, Texas.

Sunshine Foundation answers dreams to children with life-long severe chronic illnesses and conditions such as: spina bifida, cerebral palsy, level 3 severe autism, Down syndrome, hydrocephalus, severe epilepsy, Sickle Cell Disease, blindness, deafness, trauma from abuse, and others.
Sunshine Foundation relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations, and corporations to make these dreams a reality for children who may be turned away from other wish-granting organizations because they require a life-threatening or critical diagnosis.
Cameron’s “Dream Come True” was made possible through a generous grant from Rite Aid Healthy Futures.
