A 17-year-old male from Tennessee has been arrested in connection with the murder of fellow teen Trinity Bostic.
The suspect is currently being held at Sumner County Detention Center on charges of first-degree murder.
According to the Hendersonville Police Department, an investigation began on July 3, 2024, when human remains were discovered by a Tennessee Department Of Transportation worker cleaning up trash in a wooded area near S.R. 386 and New Shackle Island Rd.

The remains were identified as 17-year-old Trinity Bostic, who had been reported missing from Macon County on June 29, 2024.
While the investigation is ongoing, police suspect foul play in Bostic’s death.
