Malice Clark Jr. (also known as Greg Clark and “Greed”), 58, of Memphis, Tennessee, was sentenced to six years in federal prison followed by three years of supervised release for distributing fentanyl that resulted in the death of a Great Falls, Montana man. Clark pleaded guilty in June to possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.

Court documents revealed that Clark mailed fentanyl to the victim and his wife in Great Falls multiple times between February 2021 and April 2022.

In April 2022, the couple received a package of fentanyl from Clark, which they both consumed. The husband fatally overdosed, and his wife called 911.

An autopsy confirmed the cause of death as acute fentanyl intoxication.

Chief U.S. District Judge Brian M. Morris presided over the case and ordered Clark to pay $9,000 in restitution. U.S. Attorney Jesse Laslovich emphasized the tragic consequences of fentanyl distribution and the commitment to pursuing those who fuel the drug epidemic.
