TEMPLE TERRACE, Fla. – A violent altercation between two men in Temple Terrace has turned deadly, prompting a homicide investigation by the Temple Terrace Police Department.
On Saturday, October 19th, at approximately 1:36 AM, officers responded to a disturbance call at 7503 W Riverchase Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male victim with a severe head injury. The victim was transported to a local hospital but tragically succumbed to his injuries.

Joseph Cardenas, 42, has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in connection with the incident. He is currently being held at Orient Road Jail.
The Temple Terrace Police Department is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this homicide and will release further information as it becomes available.
