MONROE COUNTY, Fla. – Three teenage boys have been arrested in connection with a string of burglaries targeting fishing gear and marine equipment on Stock Island. The stolen goods, valued at tens of thousands of dollars, were then sold online using fake accounts.
Nicholas Joseph Gattorno, 17, Jonah Alexzander Gattorno, 15, and Sandy Eduardo Camejo, 14, all of Stock Island, face multiple charges including burglary, grand theft, and dealing in stolen property.

Over the past week, the trio allegedly stole fishing rods, reels, spearguns, and other marine equipment from various locations on Stock Island. They then used aliases and fake accounts to sell the stolen items on popular online marketplaces like Facebook Marketplace and OfferUp.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office is urging anyone who recently purchased fishing or marine gear online from a seller in the Lower Keys to contact Detective Ken Fricke at kfricke@keysso.net. This will help investigators determine if the purchased items are connected to the stolen property.
