Steyn Sarduy, 19, a former resident of New Kensington, Pennsylvania, has been sentenced to 30 months in federal prison for his role in a firearms store burglary. Following his imprisonment, Sarduy will serve three years of supervised release.
Senior United States District Judge Nora Barry Fischer handed down the sentence.
According to court documents, on or around January 22, 2024, Sarduy and his co-defendant, Michael Guin, conspired to steal a truck. They then used the stolen truck to crash into a firearms store in New Kensington, gaining entry. Once inside, they broke multiple display cases and stole 24 firearms.

Assistant United States Attorney Jonathan D. Lusty prosecuted the case on behalf of the government.
Acting United States Attorney Troy Rivetti commended the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) for their thorough investigation, which led to Sarduy’s successful prosecution.
