SARASOTA, Fla. –A 17-year-old male has succumbed to his injuries following a shooting at Twin Lakes Park early Sunday morning.
The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the teenager’s death. Another victim who was also shot at the park remains hospitalized and is receiving treatment for their injuries.
The shooting occurred around 1:12 a.m. on Sunday at Twin Lakes Park, located at 6700 Clark Road. The Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Section is actively investigating the incident and urges anyone with information to come forward.
