PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 42-year-old Tarpon Springs man tragically lost his life in a single-vehicle crash on Flora Avenue in Holiday on Monday.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the man was driving a Chevy Suburban westbound on Flora Avenue when he lost control of the vehicle east of Basswood Drive. The Suburban veered off the roadway, entered a residential yard, and collided with a tree.

Emergency responders transported the driver to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
Troopers are investigating the cause of the crash.
