PASCO COUNTY, Fla. (April 11, 2025) – A federal jury has convicted Pierre Marquis Fowler, 36, of Tarpon Springs, also known as “Durk,” on multiple charges related to a large-scale drug trafficking operation, United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe announced Friday. Fowler faces a potential maximum penalty of life in federal prison.
The jury found Fowler guilty of conspiracy to distribute significant quantities of fentanyl (400 grams or more), methamphetamine (500 grams or more), and cocaine (500 grams or more). He was also convicted of possessing these substances with intent to distribute, possessing a machinegun in furtherance of drug trafficking, and two counts of illegal monetary transactions. A sentencing date has not yet been set.

Evidence presented during the trial indicated that Pierre Fowler and his brother, Marcus Jamar Fowler (also known as “Drastic”), conspired with others to distribute narcotics, primarily using a stash house in Tarpon Springs. According to testimony, one witness estimated receiving at least 75 kilograms of fentanyl, hundreds of pounds of methamphetamine, and multiple kilograms of cocaine from Pierre Fowler between 2020 and 2022.
Search warrants executed during the investigation yielded substantial evidence. At the stash location, authorities recovered eight firearms, including two illegal machineguns, along with 989.1 grams of fentanyl, 715 grams of methamphetamine, and 781 grams of cocaine. Investigators also intercepted seven parcels shipped from California to the Middle District of Florida within a single week, which contained an additional 3,981 grams of fentanyl and 4,458 grams of methamphetamine.
The trial evidence also demonstrated that Pierre Fowler used proceeds from drug sales for illegal financial transactions exceeding $10,000, including the purchase of real estate property in Holiday, Florida. As part of the conviction, the government is seeking forfeiture of assets including the Holiday property and $10,409 in cash seized from Fowler during a search on February 8, 2023.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Samantha E. Beckman, with AUSA James Muench handling the forfeiture aspects. It was conducted under the umbrella of the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF), a federal program focused on disrupting and dismantling major criminal organizations through coordinated multi-agency efforts.
