TARPON SPRINGS, Fla. – Tarpon Springs Fire Rescue and units from Palm Harbor and Eastlake Fire departments battled a garage fire at 1722 Sunkissed Drive in Tarpon Springs.
Officials say reports of smoke and fire in the residence came into the 911 center, as well as a report of 3 cats inside the structure.
Tarpon Springs Fire Rescue arrived on the scene at 04:56 hrs. to find a 3-story residential structure with smoke and fire coming from the garage.

Crews went in an offensive mode and got a quick knockdown on the fire.
The fire did have some extension into the residence that was extinguished. There were no injuries to civilians or first responders. Three cats were rescued from the home.
The cat’s conditions are unknown at this time. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
