TAMPA, Fla. – The City of Tampa’s e-Bike Voucher Program is back! After a successful spring round, the program is offering another 108 vouchers for residents to explore electric biking as a transportation option.
The summer/fall application window opens at 8:00 A.M. on Friday, August 18th, and closes at 5:00 P.M. on Friday, August 30th. All City residents ages 18 and up are eligible to apply. Previous applicants who weren’t selected in the spring will be automatically entered into this round.

Voucher amounts range from $1,000 for standard vouchers to $2,000 or $3,000 for low and very low incomes. Recipients will be chosen randomly and can redeem their voucher at participating bike shops for Class 1 or Class 2 e-bikes.
With increased funding this year, the Mobility Department aims to award over 200 vouchers in 2024. Previous recipients have reported increased biking and reduced car usage, making the program a success for both residents and the environment.
