HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. – Isabelle Turner, a 57-year-old resident of Tampa, has claimed a $1 million prize from the Florida Lottery’s “$1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR” Scratch-Off game. She opted for the one-time lump-sum payment of $640,000.
Turner bought the lucky ticket at the Publix located on Southwest 75th Street in Gainesville. The store will receive a $2,000 bonus commission for selling the winning ticket.

The “$1,000,000 A YEAR FOR LIFE SPECTACULAR” game offers two top prizes of $1 million annually for life and 234 prizes of $1 million. Overall odds of winning any prize in this game are 1-in-4.50.
Scratch-Off games are a significant part of the Florida Lottery, contributing to about 74% of ticket sales in the last fiscal year. Since their inception, these games have generated over $19 billion for the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund.
